What happened to the Independent Theatre?
After operating as a theatre since 1911, by the late 1980s the theatre was neglected and likely to follow the fate of much of Sydney's buildings
Doris Fitton, and the Independent Theatre
In 1993 the building was bought and restored by Dr Rodney Seaborn
It is now owned by the Wenona School
